Hey! I’m so glad you’ve stopped by my little corner of the web. My name is Angie McGowan and in the photo above is my husband Josh and our son Julien. Eclectic Recipes is my personal food blog where I share the recipes from my kitchen. I also have many recipes that can be found at Babble’s Family Kitchen, a daily food blog I had for nearly 2 years. Now I create lots of fun recipes for Betty Crocker, Pillsbury and many more.

I started this site a little over 2 years ago. I never thought it would be anything more than a safe place to save my recipes. I choose a blog to store my recipes so they were easy to find, categorize and share with friends and family.  I never, ever thought this little hobby would turn into a full-time love affair. I also never imagined my recipes would receive hundreds of thousands of hits a month.

I don’t have any formal training in food. I am just a stay at home mom who loves to cook for her family. I like to create recipes that are fun and easy with ingredients that are easy to find.

Since creating this blog I have been so flattered to have been mentioned by such amazing blogs as The Pioneer Woman, Steamy Kitchen, Apartment therapy (ohdeedoh section), TipNut, CafeMom, iVillage and many more.
